All the piercing jewelry in this collection is made of localy grown Mother of Pearl shells which is a white shell but with hints of yellow, pink and sometimes even green and blue. The material off course will vary some as its impossible to get it identical for each pair though we do our best to pair our shell piercing jewelry up so that once worn its quaranteed to look great. The shells we use are commercially grown and that’s the reason we can’t get them thicker than 6mm so all our shell body jewelry come in sizes from 2-6mm. This organic body jewelry collection is by far the most expensive as it takes up to 5 times longer to carve in shell than in other materials as its very hard and prone to crack.
